The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for defining and driving enterprise-wide technology architecture, ensuring alignment between business objectives and long-term technology strategy. The role requires deep expertise in Oracle technologies, enterprise application architecture, database management, modern frontend frameworks, cloud platforms, and emerging AI/GenAI capabilities. The candidate will lead the design and evolution of enterprise technology ecosystems, establish architectural standards and technology roadmaps, and drive the modernisation of legacy Oracle-based applications into scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performing platforms.
The role involves providing architectural leadership across complex enterprise applications, integrations, and digital transformation initiatives, while leveraging modern technologies such as React, Angular, TypeScript, microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native architectures. The candidate will also drive the adoption of AI-powered solutions by integrating Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and intelligent automation into enterprise applications and business workflows. Additionally, the role will oversee technology evaluations, database modernisation, cloud adoption, enterprise integrations, and the implementation of robust security, governance, performance, and scalability standards.
The ideal candidate should combine strong enterprise architecture leadership with hands-on technical expertise and proven experience in managing large-scale technology initiatives. The individual will work closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders, product teams, and senior leadership to translate complex business requirements into effective technology solutions. The role also involves providing technical direction, mentoring architects and engineering teams, leading architectural reviews, managing technology risks, and promoting engineering excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement while ensuring the delivery of secure, sustainable, and future-ready enterprise solutions.

15+ years of experience in software engineering, enterprise application development, and technology architecture.
At least 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or technical leadership roles.
Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, and enterprise Oracle application ecosystems.
Experience with Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Integration Cloud, or equivalent Oracle enterprise platforms.
Strong experience in enterprise application modernisation, database migration, and integration architecture.
Proficiency in modern frontend technologies such as React, Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
Practical experience with AI/GenAI technologies, LLM integration, RAG, and AI-powered application development.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or OCI.
Strong understanding of enterprise security, data privacy, application governance, and regulatory compliance.
Proven ability to define architecture standards, make technology decisions, and lead complex enterprise transformation initiatives.
Qualifications and certifications
Education and credentials that support this role.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Knowledge or experience in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF is preferred.

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and cloud-native architecture patterns.
Experience in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and enterprise UI/UX architecture.
Experience working in large-scale, globally distributed enterprise engineering environments.
