About the role
What you’ll be working on and why this role matters.
The Senior Full Stack Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining both frontend and backend components of an assigned business subsystem or application module within an autonomous Scrum pod. The role involves taking complete technical ownership of assigned features and functionalities, ensuring seamless integration between user interfaces, backend services, REST APIs, and database components. The developer is expected to work across the entire application development lifecycle, from understanding business requirements and participating in technical design discussions to coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring that the delivered solutions meet functional, performance, security, and quality standards.
The candidate will be expected to demonstrate strong hands-on expertise in backend development using Python and Django, along with frontend development using React and TypeScript. Responsibilities include designing and developing secure and scalable REST APIs, building responsive and reusable UI components, implementing application-level business logic, and developing efficient database queries and data access mechanisms using PostgreSQL and/or Oracle. The role also requires adherence to established coding standards, test-driven development practices, unit and integration testing, Git-based version control, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows. The developer should actively contribute to technical discussions, identify potential performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure the reliability, maintainability, and scalability of the assigned subsystem.
Working as an integral member of a cross-functional Scrum pod, the Senior Full Stack Developer will collaborate closely with the Scrum Master, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, Enterprise Architect, and other development team members to achieve sprint objectives and successful project delivery. The candidate must actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog discussions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, while taking accountability for assigned deliverables, timelines, and technical outcomes. The role requires a strong sense of ownership, analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset, with the capacity to independently manage development activities and deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions within a dynamic enterprise software development environment.
