The Full Stack Developer is responsible for the development, enhancement, and maintenance of both frontend and backend components of an assigned business subsystem or module within a Scrum pod.
The role translates approved requirements and technical designs into responsive UI components, business logic, APIs, integrations, and database interactions, ensuring seamless functionality from the user interface through to backend services.
Working closely with the Senior Business Analyst, Enterprise Architect, Data Architect, QA Engineer, DevOps, and other developers, the Full Stack Developer participates throughout the Agile software development lifecycle, including sprint planning, development, code reviews, unit testing, defect resolution, and deployment support.
The developer follows established coding, security, performance, and architectural standards, while contributing to maintainable code, automated testing, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Ultimately, the Full Stack Developer works as an end-to-end engineering contributor within the Scrum pod, sharing responsibility for taking features from requirement through API, business logic, UI, testing, and deployment to production.

Design, develop, and maintain both frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (Java/Spring Boot or Python) components for the pod's owned subsystem.

Implement secure REST APIs and integrate them with frontend interfaces end-to-end.
Develop and optimize data access logic against the platform's PostgreSQL and/or Oracle databases.
Write unit, integration, and component tests across both frontend and backend code for delivered work.
Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews within the pod; commit to and deliver sprint goals.
Conduct and receive code reviews within the pod; uphold engineering and secure-coding standards.
Collaborate directly with the pod's QA Engineers on defect resolution and test coverage.
Contribute to technical design discussions for the pod's owned subsystem, escalating architecture-level questions to the Enterprise Architect.

Skills and experience that will help you succeed.
Experience: 4–8 years of professional full stack development.
Backend: Working Java (Spring Boot) and/or Python competence with REST API design.
Frontend: Working React/TypeScript competence, including state management and component architecture.
Databases: SQL competence against PostgreSQL and/or Oracle.
Practices: TDD/unit testing habit, Git workflow, and CI/CD familiarity.
Ownership: Comfortable owning a feature or module end-to-end within a small, autonomous pod.
Qualifications and certifications
Education and credentials that support this role.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Relevant cloud or full stack certification preferred.
Nice to have
Bonus strengths — not required, but valued.
Exposure to messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ) or event-driven patterns.
Docker/Kubernetes exposure.
Government, BFSI, or regulated-sector platform experience.
