About the role
What you’ll be working on and why this role matters.
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for translating business needs into clear, complete, and engineering-ready requirements for assigned platform modules or subsystems.
The role conducts business analysis, stakeholder discussions, and process assessments and produces user stories, use cases, business rules, process flows, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation required by development and QA teams.
Working closely with the Lead BA, Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and QA Engineers, the Senior BA clarifies requirements, manages dependencies, supports backlog refinement, and ensures that delivered functionality remains aligned with business objectives.
The role also supports SIT and UAT activities, including preparation of UAT scenarios, requirement clarification, defect assessment, business validation, and coordination with stakeholders through to formal acceptance.
Ultimately, the Senior Business Analyst acts as the functional bridge between business stakeholders and the delivery pod, ensuring that assigned modules are clearly defined, correctly implemented, thoroughly validated, and accepted by the business.

Model as-is/to-be processes (BPMN or equivalent) and data flows for assigned areas.
Maintain traceability for assigned requirements through design, build, and test.

Skills and experience that will help you succeed.
Experience: 6–9 years in business analysis on software platform deliveries.
Specification: Strong user-story and use-case writing with testable acceptance criteria.
Modelling: Process modelling proficiency (BPMN/UML) and workshop facilitation.
Traceability: Worked within formal traceability regimes.
Collaboration: Effective daily collaboration with delivery pods and QA in Agile settings.
UAT: Direct experience supporting UAT execution and defect adjudication.
Qualifications and certifications
Education and credentials that support this role.
Bachelor's degree required.
CCBA/CBAP preferred.
Nice to have
Bonus strengths — not required, but valued.
Government, workflow/case-management, or identity-domain exposure.
CBAP/CCBA certification.
UAT coordination experience.
